Slime vs Airlock for road training tires. Is either one better or are they about the same? Any experience out there?
I live in an area (Albuquerque) with a lot of thorn issues and I have used the Airlock tubes in conjunction with Specialized tires. With this combo I have had zero flats. I’m really pleased with the Airlock tubes.

Yesterday, D’Wife got nailed by some glass … The Slime kept the tire from going completely flat - maybe 50% full - but now I can’t get it off to replace the tube and get a tire liner in there for* extra* security. I tried deflating it, but it just mocks me. I guess I’ll have to take the valve core out … How do I do that, exactly???
ahh… good luck! used that stuff on my lil dude’s jogging stroller. took the core out and still could not get it to deflate all the way. ended up cutting the whole tire off. wont use that stuff again.
