Tire for Kinlin XC 279

I was wondering what tire matches well with the XC279 rim? Do the wings of a Bontrager R4 work well with it in 700x22? I have some R4 in 19mm, and the wings didn’t work well with my Campy Zonda’s.

I wouldn’t put anything less than a 21mm tires on an XC 279 if you value your collarbone. The inner width is 18.5mm I think.

I use 23mm Conti GP 4000S… good enough.
