Any tips for cutting/mounting CH aero wheel cover? I’m not technically inclined, can’t tell the difference between metric and standard tools;)
How can I smooth out the circle I cut to accomadate my PT? Sandpaper? File? Will the screws stay in place or do i need to blue loctite it? What about the rear derailleur rubbing on the cover?
I would not recommend leaving the cover on all the time. I just tightened the screws on per the instructions a few days before the event and did some test rides to make sure I got it on tight enough. No problems after I mounted it. The main problem was making sure the brake pads couldn’t touch the edges. I just used a pair of scissors. A cleaner cut would be obtained by taking the battery cover and drawing an outline of it on the cover and taking a new razor to the cover. I didn’t bother smoothing the cut but I am not very particular.
