Can anyone tell me how to set the pace alert function on my Speed Distance monitor? I input 7:00 mile is max speed and attempted to put 7:30 as minimum but it defaults the minimum at :01 above the max!!
This, naturally, has caused me some confusion. Please help me you fellow users.

You can set both “speed” and “pace” settings. I think you are setting your 7 and 7:30 as “speed” = miles per hour.
Make sure you are setting them as “pace” = minutes per mile.
The top line on the setting screen should have “mi” to the right side of your numbers, not “MPH”.
Scroll to the “Zone type” screen, hit select, scroll to “Pace”, hit select again. Now scroll back to Fastest and Slowest and set your limits.

excuseme being dense but is this menu in monitor or options? In monitor I get pace distance, then hold to clear if I attempt to input. In options I get zone alert pace, then maxpace, min pace but no mp or mi readings! HELP!
Sorry but the excuse for an instruction booklet is woefull.

I don’t have the watch here with me. I’ll check it tonight and get back to you.
BTW – do you have the watch that also reads the HR monitor? The older one doesn’t, and is a little different than mine.
