Somebody recently posted a gripe about the watch unit on a Timex GPS bodylink system giving them hassles.
Mine was misbehaving, too (display would go blank while running). So, I called Timex 800 number tech support. The tech and I figured that the Indiglo button was bad, and would stay on when the watch was jiggling around. That sucks up all the battery power.
So, they’re sending me a new watch unit and a return envelope for the old one. I pay seven bucks shipping and handling, which I’m ok with.
Just thought I’d throw out a good customer service story. Companies that respond to problems deserve some credit.
