Time trial saturday - how to refresh legs tomorrow?

I have a time trial on Saturday morning - I did a crit on tueday night then was out all day in France with the club riding Yesterday with a few ego efforts up some climbs etc. Legs feel toasted today so only swam. What would be the best session tomorrow to get the legs fighting fit for Saturday - was thinking about 1:30 on the bike with a few short effort?

compression socks ofcourse… seriously though, i find they work for me. and a infrared sauna too… if you have one.

20-30 Minutes of easy spinning or walking/hiking.

depending on your normal weekly volume, I would do 30 minutes to 60 minutes at a recovery pace with 3 to 6 30 second hard efforts. Kind of like a massage on wheels…

I’d do something short, but brisk. Go too easy and your legs will probably be very blah for the race. Do a brisk tempo effort, but keep it very short. I won’t say what short is because that’s different for everyone depending on what they’re used to.

Set up your bike for the way you plan to race it and take it out for a short test spin.

A little time in a whirlpool would be nice, too.

i usually rip them open 2 days before. but i usually also come in DFL.

day before is easy though, either way.

30sec intervals at super high cadence… loosen those shizz right out.
