Time Trial position question

My question is about effective seat tube angle. I measured my road bike using 2 sticks. The first went from the center of the saddle to the pedal at its most extended point(a little forward of bottom). The second went from skewer to skewer. I measured the angle where the 2 sticks met. The result was 74 deg. I then did the same for my TT bike. The result was 73 deg.

Did I measure the effective angle correctly? If so, is 73 deg to slack for a dedicated TT bike? My seat is higher than my road bike, my bars are lower and I have a hump in my back.
