I don’t know if you’ve heard but we’ve seen in the British press that the UCI is going to ban aero style fairing helmets for TTing next season (I know a lot of you guys TT as well as Tri). Manufacturers will have to work fast.
Yup, it’s true. “Real” helmets like the Garneau Prologue will be legal, but head fairings will be gone. I think it’s a good idea - it will make the riders safer and it will goad Giro/Bell, Briko, etc. into giving Garneau some competition.
Head fairing arealready illegal in the US, helmets must be certirfied.
Limar will be entering this market in late March with an aero TT helmet. Probably means april.
