Has anyone got rid of the clicking noise from their Time Impact pedals? It’s got to the point were tri-flow doesn’t cut it anymore. I’m going nuts listening to the clicking!
Time to buy the new RXS pedals. I have them on two bikes and love them.

They’re on the list for next year. However I’ve promised myself (actually my wife) no new equipment this year. So I guess it’s tri-flow until next year!
If it is the impact, there was a batch of them that did not have a washer installed in them. If you take them apart and pack them with grease they are OK for a while, but they need the special little washer to solve the issue completely… However - they should have been clicking most of their life if this is the case…

They have clicked since I got them a couple of years ago. The click comes and goes. Tri-Flow on the spring and cleat sometimes does the trick. So this washer is missing from the axle? Were can I get this washer?
I had a mechanic do it - but I am pretty sure you need to get the washer from Time (so the shop where you bought them should sort getting one from Time). I think the washer goes next to the bearing (inside the pedal body, on the axel). The mechanic was grinding his teeth a little when he gave tham back to me - so I suspect it was a bit of a fiddly job! Mine was done under warranttee - no questions asked.

Thanks a lot. Maybe a new pair of RXS’s aren’t out of the question.
No worries - I still like them. They give a positive feel, and I was happy with the back-up I got. I think you should still try and 'rescue them if not too much hassle!
