Time for a new bike...opinions

I am currently riding a Cervelo Dual. When I bought the bike, I got some sizing advise from a very experienced cyclist only to find out later that he doesn’t know much about sizing on a tri bike. As a result, I ended up with a 56 instead of the 54 (I bought the bike used so I couldn’t just take it back). This is my screw up. I should have worked with the FIST person before buying.

After riding the oversized bike for 2 years, I am now in the position to get a new bike. I have checked the fit and have narrowed my choices down to 3. Cervelo P2c, QR Caliente and Trek TTX 9.5. I am able to get them all for about the same price. I have ridden all three bikes and am leaning towards the QR but have not had enough time in the saddle to make a final decision. I would appreciate and value the opinions of the experts here on ST.

Not an expert, but I would add the Felt B2 to the short list at that price point.

Don’t screw around go for a loaded Cervelo P3C, you may be broke and in debt, but you will be very fast. Tim

Go just as fast on a Felt B2 and save some $$$$.

to answer your question I have a new P2 carbon and LOVE it. Coming from your Dual there will be no surprises - its what you’d expect out of a cervelo quality-wise, it rides nice, its aerodynamic, its nice to look at, and its carbon. You cant go wrong with any of those 3 bikes but I chose the P2C, so thats my vote.

I hear Wal-mart has a killer deal on a full carbon bike…
