It sort of raises a larger question about the many people on these strong opoid medications, presumably for medically necessary treatment, but nonetheless creating some difficulty and potentially danger for those around them.

Your point inspired me to do a little digging. While there is plenty of evidence that opioids can adversely affect driving, apparently there is some nuance to that. Here is an example:

Dude seems to take the wrong fork in the road more often than not, likely from being so famous so early. And thrown too much money before he had the capability to understand what it all meant..In the mold of many child actors who hit it big in their youth, and then just spin their wheels as adults..
