Thumbs up to Bolle service/repair

Since we tend to hear more about the bad experiences with vendors/shops than the good…thought I’d post a positive one to help balance it out. I sent back a pair of Swishers to have the polarized lenses replaced, as they had picked up a lot of “micro” scratches from not being handled carefully enough (100% my fault…ie not a warranty claim). I call to ask how much it will be, they say around $40, but they’ll let me know once they receive the glasses (I would pay over the phone with CC). I get a postcard a few days later confirming the receipt of my glasses, with info on how to check the status on-line–quote was 3-4 weeks. No hurry though. So I open the mailbox today and what do I find but a brand new pair of glasses. Not just new lenses…new glasses. I never paid a dime–sweet! That’s one way to make a loyal customer.
