In the other thread, posters are falling all over themselves raving about how this bike is the bboommbb. I’m just not seeing it. To me, the bikes looks fine, like a bike should. Can’t really tell much though from a picture on the Internet. It might be the next big thing; it might prove to be just fine (as I suspect); and/or, it might prove to be a dog. But the picture doesn’t tell me a hell of a lot.

why don’t ya read the link that i posted to the blog of the test ride
.

Ok … like I said, the bike seems fine. The blog seemed a little over the top in terms of praise and perhaps lacking in objectivity, but a pretty fair read nonetheless. I’m still not feeling the paint; but that’s just me. Maybe in real life it rocks. I’m more interested in how it handles; is the toptube stiff enough (this is where a lot of bikes miss the stiffness equation; just about everything is stiff enough at the bottom bracket, but a lot of bikes are way to flexy up top); is the geometry proper (something Litespeed has missed in the past).

I like the idea of the blog … a real-world product testing blog is a cool idea.

wish i could give you more objective feeback on the new bike. not sure of the top tube flexibility. i know the ghisallo has had issue with excessive flex in the past… from what i’ve heard - they, (litespeed) has put in a significant amount of time into his titanium bike. we’ll find out soon enough if its performance matches its beauty.

It looks a hell of a lot better than the old ones. I wonder is the paint will chip though?
