Thoughts on getting use to wetsuit by using it in the pool

Does anyone do this before its reasonable to swim outside? Last year at ST Anthony’s I hadn’t swam in my wetsuit prior to the race and it definitely was weird…How bad is the pool bad for the wetsuit materials?

I would submit that most people try their wetsuit in the pool at the beginning of their career. Just make sure you rinse it well afterward.

second to rinse it well. You don’t want the chlorine damaging it. It will make it a warm swim…
