what are your thoughts? If strapped to the stem, would it help aero drag by reducing wind hitting chest?
Probably not, more likely to increase drag as you’re adding an extra item sitting out there on its own out front of your body. A bottle between aero bars works because it is filling a gap where the air would normally move to. On a road bike there is too much space between the bottle and your chest to fill the gap, only works when two objects are close to each other - such as between your aero bars.
Hmmm so I need to fill that space and force it around the frame.
