Nope, this is for a different customer!
They retail for $129.99. Work very well.
Hey Al, can you PM me when you get a chance? Your PM inbox isn’t working on here.
Thanks!
I can’t see the seat tube cut out being very effective given the gaping great gap between the tyre and the seat tube. Other than to look pretty I can’t see why manufacturers continue with these size gaps, why not get the fairing close enough to the wheel to be effective or offer horizontal dropouts.
Is there an Ergostem for 31.8mm basebars coming down the pipe? If so, when can we expect to find it in shops?
Thanks.
Steve
Cool bike. Great shop.
Is it just me, or isn’t that mountain bike gearing? Where’s the 11-21 with the 56 front?

Look has supplied us with the oversized “extension” so w can turn any look ergostem into an oversized clamp mount.
Nice.
What’s in the box…WHAT’S IN THE BOOOOXXXXXXXXXX?

The box is empty Bri. Now take it out in the street and make yourself a nice fort.
Thanks, Al. Can you shoot me a PM with the price (including shipping to CONUS) for an ErgoStem with the 31.8mm conversion? I’m interested.
Steve
That base bar looks like it has more drop than the PD Carbon X, and that the brake areas rise up less sharply. Is that accurate, or an illusion?
Settle down, Mills.
the bike appears to be hidden behind some sort of billboard…could you try a different angle?
Nope, it is accurate, there is more of a drop to the bar and the handle exentions are long so you can do some trimming if wanted.
I agree - that rear wheel cut out has such a huge gap that it is pointless.
And to think that I thought my Kalibur had too many decals on it! I feel a whole lot better now. That Look could be a competative weight without all the decals ![]()
hmmm, i don’t know about these new campy brake calipers. they look very nice and all, and they have shaved 36g from the weight, but think of the airflow issues. i can’t help imagine that they increase Cda by some distinctly measurable amount. got to decide, because i’m building up my wife’s new custom built Spectrum Ti Super …
Airflow issues for Brakes? I’m awfully sorry BUT sometimes you guys with the super-aero-fetish go over the edge! Just how fast do you ride these 112 miles? Sub 4:30h on a flat course? Then and only then I could understand your argument! Otherwise: go out and train! ![]()
I was always wondering:
What are oversized stems/bars good for anyway?
Is there any benefit compared the normal size? On my Merlin I noticed that the increased stiffness of an oversized stem/bar took away much of the smoothness of the ride. So, at least on this titanium bike I’d personally stick to normal sized stems/bars.
You missed the reference to the movie “Seven”.
clearly i should make my sarcasm more obvious.
nevertheless, i do still wonder about the wisdom of campagnolo trading off 36 grams in their top of the line brake calipers for apparently worse aerodynamics. just seems odd to me. and yes, i do have to build up my wife’s steed.
