They are too fucking stupid to realize they are just pawns.

“Waving signs denouncing bank “greed,†hordes of invaders poured out of 14 school buses, up Baer’s steps, and onto his front porch. As bullhorns rattled with stories of debtor calls and foreclosed homes, Baer’s teenage son Jack — alone in the house — locked himself in the bathroom. “When are they going to leave?†Jack pleaded when I called to check on him.
Baer, on his way home from a Little League game, parked his car around the corner, called the police, and made a quick calculation to leave his younger son behind while he tried to rescue his increasingly distressed teen. He made his way through a din of barked demands and insults from the activists who proudly “outed†him, and slipped through his front door.
“Excuse me,†Baer told his accusers, “I need to get into the house. I have a child who is alone in there and frightened.â€
How didn’t everyone of those people that stepped into the yard get arrested?
This line “Intimidation was the whole point of this exercise, and it worked-even on the police. A trio of officers who belatedly answered our calls confessed a fear that arrests might “incite” these trespassers.” Is terribly disturbing. They should have been arrested on the spot and had trespassing, at very least, brought against them.
Go picket the corporate headquarters, but if you come to my fucking house be prepared for lead in your ass!
The problem here is, again what I find disturbing about the police’s action, is that had something like this taken place the home owner would have had charges brought against them, not the trespassers. You can’t shoot someone on your lawn I don’t believe.
It would also be interesting to see what the owner could have done with the people on the lawn that was with in the law. In most cases I suspect the owner would have been charged with something thus the police dam well better do something about it, but they didn’t.

No kidding, looks like they are at the front door.
Edit to clarify: You’ve got to be kidding me that the union is protesting the greed of someone else…Just point out the irony of a totally greedy group, protesting someone else’s greed. And, acting thuggish to boot.
Well, I think you miss-interpreted what I wrote. I was trying to say the unions were protesting (tresspassing) saying BofA was greedy, yet they are equally as bad or worse, as they’re thugs also. I am the last person in the world to stand up for unions.

In my state it is not trespassing unless the property is fenced, posted with signs or they are told to leave. Disturbing the peace, Unlawful assembly maybe?

In my state I could shoot you if I feel threatened. I would say a violent mob would meet the description.
BTW good call on these idiots being pawns. Is there some sort of really dumb pawn or can we come up with a name? Anyone thats ever been ina union that doesnt figure out the game in under 5 minutes is an idiot.

My criticism has always been of the union mechanism itself, sometimes the members do stupid things, like beat the fuck out of someone, but generally I bet these people don’t know jack shit about economics and they certainly don’t have the self awareness to realize they are being used and abused by the union power structure.
They are sort of like two-bit street whores in that sense–except they get pimped around in purple buses.
I’ve got union strikes going on at 2 client plants right now. Both have turned violent and have resulted in damage to vehicles and company property. This is why I normally rent a car when I visit strike locations. Over the last 10 years or so, I have had my car keyed twice, had my tires slashed twice, and ran over tacks in the road during my last visit. Fortunately, I have never seen a situation where the union has targeted anyone’s home.
