It’s one bad-ass hole, that’s for sure. Officials are pegging it as 500M wide X 1KM long… huge… Don’t know if they found the family…

Looking at those other pictures the first thought was that maybe they hid in the basement, but then I realized that this was not a tornado and they probably had no warning.
The basement is probably the worst place to be in this situation.
