Dude wins the mountain running world champs in Albania two weeks ago. Then, he “cruises” to win the 50k USATF National Championship here in Bend yesterday. Hops a 2pm flight for Snow Basin and wins the Xterra Trail Run National Championship today. He ran 3:27 for the 50k on a course with over 4000 ft of climbing. He hit the marathon mark in 2:50. Once he dropped the guy he was running with, he put 5mins into him in the last 5 miles and “backed off” to have something left for today. He won today by 4 mins. Unreal.
