She was holding a Beretta. Probably a M1934 or M1935. (The 1934 fired 9mm and 380, the 1935 was chambered for 32 ACP aka 7.65x17 Browning). The 1934 was issued to the Italian army. The 1935 was sold to civilians AND issued to the German military in 44 and 45. Thousands were captured. It’s a small pistol of last resort (8 rounds), which makes me think more Mata Hari than Indy
