Hey, I think it’s been a great, entertaining Tour, and really look forward to tomorrow’s and Saturday’s stages to see how the rest of it will shake out. Clearly, Contador is the strongest rider and deserves to win, but that doesn’t mean we can’t nitpick some of his tactical decisions along the way, and ridicule his silly pistol gesture. Neither diminishes his achievement. My only gripe from today’s stage was punking Kloden unneccessarily, when Kloden had been fulfilling his duty admirably by nursing LA up Verbier on Sunday and then escorting AC up the final climb today, but that doesn’t mean I want something bad to happen to AC. I would just like to see an Astana sweep since that’s something that hasn’t happened since before there was such a thing as TV, let alone daily coverage and Interweb forums.
