Who is watching? What can or what should we expect?
I already saw this episode on ON Demand. I am kind of pissed at myself
I’m watching. I don’t know what to expect, other that it is going to be great. Loved the scene last night with a drunk McNulty at the pay phone searching his pockets for a quarter and he pulls out…a cell phone. And the opening scene with the copy machine. I love this show.
Good first episode.
It got into things without stretching it out over the first 3 or 4.
Marlo, Chris and the Greeks should be good. Marlo is up to something.
Herc’s an idiot.
McNulty back to his ways.
I hope Bubbles doesn’t die.
A little bored with the newspaper/media angle but I’m confident it will work out. Is this scheduled to be a short season? Only 10 episodes?
It was a good episode, it is unreal how it gets the viewer so focused. The show is awesome.
I was a little bored with the journalism angle too, but I am sure in keeping with the WIRE way it will get better soon.
haha. Yeah, the cell phone was funny. They also did the copy machine bit in “Homicide: Life on the Street”
Dunno if it was Clark Johnson’s idea (he’s the black newsroom editor on the show and directed some of the first season episodes. I also heard he directed the finale.)
At first I was a bit surprised at how shtty things have gotten for the cops but then again, it wouldn’t be the wire if everything were hunky dory I guess.
At first I wasn’t too keen with the journalism angle, and was dying to find out more about Randy but the “you can’t evacuate people” bit made me laugh pretty hard.
