Whatever happened to Carol Montgomery? When did she retire (or did she?) ?
Carol splits time between Vancouver and (mostly) Malibu, CA. She’s retired. I believe she was nominated (recently) for the Triathlon Hall of Fame. Not sure when she officially retired. My wife and her are good friends and keep in touch, so I am not sure how much Carol would want me saying about what she’s doing since I have more than casual knowledge.
Thanks…just a fan. Loved watching her race. She was damn fast at running. I wonder if any women in triathlon right now could match her 10k time at her peak?
