The walking dead." Crossed". Spoilers ahead

Wow. That episode left me looking at the clock 40 minutes in thinking…“This can not be the whole episode, nothing happened”.

I guess when focusing on 4 individual sub plots it is hard to move all of the stories along at anything near the pace they have in the last three episodes.

The napalm scene was crazy. On the walking dead they displayed a tweet "If necessity is the mother of invention, then Darryl is one bad mother%^*#r’, that bowling ball/zombie head scene made the episode for me.

You just knew nice guy cop was going to screw them.

With the most obvious ploy ever. I still can not believe these people have not learned yet. Have him describe the target, then put him 10 feet from you to the right. Any movement on his part will be 100% observable. Stupid.

I had the same reaction. 40 minutes in I looked at the clock and thought to myself “well, just going to chalk this up to one of those ‘character development’ episodes I suppose…”

What is Gabrielle doing? Trying to see if he can kill a walker? Escape? Something more sinister?

Was Glen hitting on the girl he was fishing with?

Just being a overwhelmed idiot.

Was Glen hitting on the girl he was fishing with? I thought the same thing. That would be stupid for two reasons, Maggie and Abraham.

lackluster at best. had a good start, and i was excited to see some action, but it just went downhill.

i wonder if the point was to show the better side of the living humans, attempting trades instead of a hostile take over, but no matter how good ppl are, survival is priority one, and no matter how good a person the new Bob is, you don’t stay a prisoner, you escape.

Yea. That one was a like watching fake porn. Always thinking something good is going to happen, but it never does.

I also thought Glen was looking for the hook up. Could it be a swap in the making???

That preacher is the new Carl. I sure hope he gets eaten. A dream would be he and Carl both die, but since Carl is just a bit part now I can handle him living.

Also I must be really stupid, but WTF is the area with all the walkers that Glen’s group is worried about? It looked like a giant cattle stockade full of walkers.

I am pretty sure that is what the area is. A big cattle farm that the walkers invaded, ate all the cattle and are now just hanging out. The smell that they discovered before they actually saw the cattle farm was probably all the dead cattle.

I think the only thing I was wondering about in this episode is what the preacher is all about. I think there is an evil side to him.

Are you people watched the same show I’m watching? Nothing happened? They captured a pair of cops to trade. Then they lost their captives in gun battle, and Daryl ended up braining a third cop with a zombie skull. Then they wound up with three cops as hostages. Then they lost one, and it looks like he’s going to get back to his group before he’s caught again.

That’s a pretty big day in anyone’s book, I would think. What the hell has to happen on this show for anyone to think it’s eventful enough in any single episode?

As for Glen and Rosita, are you people watching the same show I’m watching? Nothing happened there. They went fishing. They talked. That’s it. Sheesh.

When there are separate groups I appreciate getting a little bit from every group and they managed to do that. Even though there was action no one’s situation changed dramatically so I guess that’s where the “nothing happened” theme comes from. It did have a feel of being a bridge to a mid-season cliffhanger.

Carl is a poor actor, no two ways about it.

Why don’t you just tell us about how zombies are not real…Or at least give us another spoiler alert…

True, but wouldn’t it have been great if the preacher picked the machete and whacked Carl in the head then Michonne cut the preacher up? Now that would have been a season ending to talk about…

Yeah. And they’re certainly are dragging it out as far as what the preacher is up to.

I was thinking it would be fun if da Preacher would due to incompetence release or draw a herd back to the church - then Morgan shows up to help . . . . but the Preacher got a nail in his foot (symbolic much?) - so he dies and rises from the dead (symbolic much?) . . .

Even though there was action no one’s situation changed dramatically so I guess that’s where the “nothing happened” theme comes from.

Sure it did. Rick’s group put themselves in a dangerous situation, and right now they’re in the middle of it. That’s a little something called “tension,” I think.

Daryl ended up braining a third cop with a zombie skull.

Huh huh, braining…

As for Glen and Rosita, are you people watching the same show I’m watching? Nothing happened there. They went fishing. They talked. That’s it. Sheesh.

yeah, fuzzy flounder fishing…

I forgot about him. Surely they didn’t just show him for no reason a few episodes back.

you may be too young to remember prior apocalypses - but they do have their mundane moments.

Or say, yeah, I hear you’re upset about guy you knew and since you’re helping us, as soon as everyone get’s back we’ll help you take that guy out.
That was so obvious.

As for Glen, the girl had mentioned Abraham recognized she was useful and asked for her help and that made her feel good in a world that had gone to shit. Glen, being the nice guy he is, heard that and later pointed out to her she is useful and they need her. He was just being nice. No middle school romance, sorry.
