going for the hideous color scheme market

They have many color options that are standard fare. It was me who picked some of the unique ones to shoot. So blame me for my taste. 
I personally quite like it, like the design and flash colors.
Looking forward to it. Their snow helmets are flat out awesome (Vantage w/ IOx goggle system) so cycling helmets seem like a natural progression.
I will be wearing one! Need to see all 12 colors but I generally go for bright
I like it. Can’t wait to see the other colors. Releasing it in late summer seems a bit off. I also thought it odd that there still isn’t anything about it on Smith’s site.

Is there any background data on how large open spaces on helmets affect the chance of sagging on something while sliding and increasing the risk of neck injury?
Otherwise it looks cool, has mips, but is outside my price range.
12 colors and I’m guessing at least 3 sizes per color?
SKU nightmare. Their volume is going to be small to begin with and trying to spread that volume across that many different SKU’s is a really poor decision, IMO.
Any photos of helmet actually being worn?
Will post one tomorrow. I am a size L in a Giro and a size L here.
It seems to me that with the orientation of the “straws” there will not be super great ventilation. I would definitely want to wait for a while until they have been ridden for a while to get some real world feedback. I know you have one and right now NC is hot and humid, unseasonably so. Should be a great test.

Grumble Grumble: Why are helmets so expensive? I just don’t understand the economics which warrant such a high price.
Aside from that I really like the looks of this helmet and the “matte mustard” color is so lovely and hilarious.
Giro came out with an even lighter helmet, more aero than the evade, and as cool as a bare helmet. They have a winner on their hands. Plus, it looks normal. Giro Synthe
