Agreed. It was so great to see them win today. The camera shots of them after the race were beautiful to watch. Though Frank crossed the line first, it was truly a family affair today in the Alps.
I hope they can both stay at the top of the GC and give Contador a run for his money on Ventoux!

Frank has had his own brush with doping allegations. However, at least he offered up a DNA sample to be tested against blood found in Fuentes’ labs. Something Contador refused to do. However, in fairness to Contador, he was formally cleared of any link with Operation Puerto.

Unfortunately they can’t time trial as good as they can climb or else we would have one heck of a race yet to come.
Luxemburg doesn’t have many known sportsman and look at that… two riders on the podium as it is of the world’s most important bike race!

So the only one in the top 4 who is NOT a doper is Lance? Geez, cycling is really messed up.
Didn’t Frank win a stage last year (or the year before)? Not that that changes your comment… just thinking that this particular win isn’t the first since Charly, is it?

I made no insinuations one way or the other. I only responded that the great performance of the Schlecks, compared to AC is only great if they are clean. Ken’s post insinuated that it was great because they were presumed clean and AC had questions. There’s nothing I’ve seen that proves them any cleaner or dirtier than AC, LA, Wiggins, or any of the other contenders. They’re all a question mark in my mind but I hold out hope that this is the cleanest tour in a long time.
