Because more than one person will want/need to use 4 inches or more of spacers.

haha…i would love to see someone riding a p4 with 4+ inches of spacers
.

If you live in the DC area come on by the shop and check it out. email us with any questions…

I thought a sub 9 couldn’t fit on that bike- according to a post by Gerard…

It is not recommended. depending on the size of the rider, and their riding style it may be acceptable.

Well, considering that the bikes not completely built… I think that’s just part of the eye candy. Now, the 1080 should work

Show up at any IM race in 2009 - you’ll see it…

Yeah, like if they don’t want to ride with a rear brake.

I can’t wait till the moment you realize, ‘oh crap, the sub 9 doesn’t fit!’ Your going to eat those words more then you know it.

really? cuz of some rubbing of the wheel on the brake?

haha

I should rather say, your going to take a lot of crap for saying that. Not that I want you to. But I would like to know your findings once you assemble the complete bike, with cable tension and all. I feel your advice of running a sub 9 with the P4 maybe a little premature on your end. I could be wrong. But i’m not.

oh gotcha, i thought you were implying it would be catastrophically dangerous.

you are correct. the rear brake does not work well with the sub9. not to say that it cant happen…but a standard disc will work much better.

Great, we see one test procedure for aero evaluation this week and now people are taking the saddles and base bars off the bike, where does it end… ;o)

if you are really hammering you don’t even need a seat!

There have had a P4 at my local shop for weeks.
