Already have 5 beers in me after a sprint this am and picked up a 6 of Shipyard Pumpkin with Tommy Boy (race dir from Griskus Races).
It’s going to be a long, fun, rainy night.
No midget yet but the night is young.

I just did a 4 hour ride on the TT bike with no hip pain (the pain that ended my tri-career). I have a case of Pumpkin Ale and am thinking of renting a midget. I’m prepared.
Quoted for awesomeness.
Good on ya, glad to hear the hip pain is behind ya.
Re: the midget rental, Parkito may be available - check his website:
Come on, Irene. Bring it, bitch.
You’d be awesome in a game of 80s song trivia.
Was (am?) supposed to do a 3 hour easy ride, but between strapping down yard furniture, figuring out a way to protect the garden, and bungee-cording all of my fence panels together so they don’t blow away, I’m already wet and tired.
Maybe I’ll whip up a quick generator to attach to the trainer for when the power goes out…

Are you thinking of “Come on Eileen”?

Totally. Sounds close enough and is a lot funnier.

FWIW, you got the source material right. I am a font of useless 80’s trivia.
I was out the day after Hurricane Ike came through the Houston area (eye missed our house by about 10-15 miles). The bike was a great way to survey the damage, which was immense, and not use gas.
