I’m a regular watcher of The Office but that was an extremely dissappointing episode. The basic comedy and gags on the show seem like they would be pretty easy to write but this season they’ve been really stingy with new episodes. I think I could ad-lib most of the characters parts and come up with a pretty good episode in a short amount of time.
And what happened to the supposed spin-off?

The show has really departed into oblivion this year. The Dwight/Andy shtick was awful. The episode about stealing the biz from Mom and Pop was not funny and now the 1 hour Pam’s dad/fire episode sucked as noted.
I only saw half of it. It is still the only sitcom that I openly laugh at. Perhaps it’s not as good as it used to be, but it’s still very good. I don’t get to watch it very regularly, so I love it when I do get to.
I loved it when Stanley’s stress machine started beeping every time Michael came near.
The opening scene was one of the funniest I have seen in a long time. But I generally agree. It wasn’t the craziness we have gotten use to.
Still good though. The roast was hysterical.
I thought the post SB episode was pretty funny. We were LOL during the CPR demo scene and the Boom! Roasted! part at the end as well.
