The new trend is asking for second chances

It’s amusing to watch the recent parade of beauty contestants being caught doing things and then making pleas for second chances. In a recent press conference with Miss Nevada, she states that the series of photos with her exposing herself and engaging in simulated sex acts with other women was an “isolated incident.”

Her lawyer quickly jumped on the same defense that Donald Trump offered Miss USA, that everyone deserves a second chance.

I wonder why people need a lawyer present to offer an apology.

I also wonder if she is more sorry for getting caught than for her actual actions.

Finally, I don’t wonder if this was isolated incidence.

“I also wonder if she is more sorry for getting caught than for her actual actions.”

Always a good question in any set of circumstances where wrong has been committed…

Interesting questions, but have you seen the photos? Where were the girls like these when I was in college? Holy smokes!

ahhhh…americans…(rolling eyes)
.

She’s a kid, she deserves multiple second chances. I’m sure glad I got them.

You’re just jealous that your students don’t behave like that

What’s the big deal? Miss Nevada wasn’t breaking any laws. (OK maybe public nudity or public lewdness or some such, but not anything that would be considered really criminal) She got drunk and stupid and unfortunately for her someone was there to record it for posterity.

Why souldn’t they get second chances?

I’m sure glad none of us here on ST never made mistakes when we were young and needed a second chance.

I’m in computer science…I’m thankful my students don’t behave like that :stuck_out_tongue:
