The bike looks awesome. If I was to do the paint job, I’d get rid of all the lines…just Ferrari/candy apple red with a logo and company name!
Any geometry charts out there? Looks tall and narrow, which realistically fits the bulk of the tri consumers !

Do those wheels come standard with it?

SWEEEEEEEET!!!The bike looks awesome and I’m getting one as soon as I can get my hands on one. I have a Shiv and it’s great. This was designed for all triathletes. I know the Specialized bike engineers. They live to design a better, faster and user friendly machine. This is one such machine. Can’t wait to see more pictures of it on the Queen K!!!
So have there been any rumors/hints as to when this would be available?
The bike should be available right after Kona. Specialized has learned by their mistakes. Macca won the worlds on a Specialized Transition yet we “dealer” could not deliver the bike for several months and Specialzed vowed it would never happen again. why does everyone insist on integrated front brakes?
it makes the whole front of the bike wider to do that.
it isn’t always, perhaps ever, better.

I just can’t wrap my head or loins around this bike. I think I fell in love with the BMCer. It’s partly Cadel’s fault, and partly mine - I have always loved angles. My fave car was Mulva - a dirty grey 88 Volvo 740 - so I like all things angular. (While I like Mondrian, I prefer Miro - so maybe not all things angular - but for machinery, yes, angular).
This bike - 5 or so years ago - would have made me squoodge my panties like no other. But now… I am forelorn, pining for the fjords as it were… I want that BMC time machine and no other.
Sigh.
However, here we are.
Since I have neither, I will pour a glass of red and go weep in the corner…

Corporate my ass. I just love velocipedes. I wouldn’t personally buy this bike but hell it’s worth getting a little cooky over at first. Like I said lust first then pick it apart.
Maybe might want to see the geometry to make sure you fit first and then test ride one? Plenty of people popped chubbies over the Venge and then realize it was so stiff their future child bearing capabilities were at risk.
