The new ride

Not a great shot, but it will have to do for now

What a piece of art. Functional art, but art nonetheless. This baby fit like a glove right out of the box, and is amazingly stable and true in the aerobars. Stiff when standing and pounding on the pedals, yet quite comfortable over crappy roads. Handles like an extenstion of my body. No chance to see what she climbs/descends like in AZ, but that will come soon enough now that I’m back in BC.

WOW. Ves is a true master builder. I only hope he doesn’t retire for another few decades.

You wouldn’t happen to be a bachelor, would you?

nice bike!

can you give us some details on the geometry…

You wouldn’t happen to be a bachelor, would you?

My thought exactly, due to nature of crap on kitchen counters–or are you trying to “hook up” with him?

 As a newly married person, I get it now…

On the counters? Sheesh, I see three bikes surrounding the counter, plus his helmet and all sorts of non-food nutritional stuff. I see nothing there that I find in my kitchen. Heck, my bike helmet is in my armoire (can’t have it out); my drying clothes are in the second bathroom (where infrequent guests never go); my bike is hanging in the garage; I share workbench space with my cat’s litter box; the list goes on…

Guys, give Khai a break!

That’s the kitchen counter of the house where we stayed for the training camp, with 10 people staying at the same house things get messy!

It really is a sweet ride

and everyone else is jealous that you can leave all yoru nutrition gear lying around - I know I AM
.

How do you like the Easton Aero fork?

Im thinking about getting one for my kharma…

A beauty! At a glance looks like one we have in the apartment! LOL

So does this mean you are looking at a Ves road bike as well? Linda refuses to ride her old road bike now that she has been on her Yaqui

Nice component choices as well, but that Syntace is so yesterday’s news!

Every time I see a Yaqui I think, “Now that is a cool bike.”
.

How tall are you? For some reason that bike looks really TINY to me.

excellent bike. love the orange. my kitchen looks pretty much like yours, and i’m married.

Oooo!! Yaqui pictures!! (Of course I have to post my Ocotillo too) I love the orange. Nice Campy too. That’s such a cute little frame.

Great Bike! Did you go to Ves’s store or order it off line?

Hey Pooks is yours the standard blue colour option or is that a purple?

Will post the wife’s Occotillo DL in orange one day.

Since we are showing off Ves’s work…

It’s purple.

Boy I like to see so many Campy bikes…follow me to the lite my friends…er, I mean, Light.

I love it. I’m hoping to get one of those later this year.
