I got this for 5K out the door…I love closeouts. I was torn between three sizes, and specialized has some screwed up sizing. I am 5’11 and am built like a t-rex.

I first got on the medium, and it fit fine but my seat angle was about 75, which I do not like. Then I went to the large, and the stack was perfect but as I rode, and creeped up on the saddle I felt I needed a little bit more reach. That left me with the XL which is identical to the L just a smidge longer. I was a little hesitant getting on an XL bike, but after checking out dans stack and reach chart it is not much different than my 54cm p3.

As it sits right now I am right at 80 degrees and zero spacers and an 120 stem, which is very very comfortable to me…might try going to about a 78-79 degree STA and going with a 100 or 110 stem… any dieas?

Apparently this bike had the old s-works chain rings, and was shifting funny on the test ride, so the shop is getting me the 09 ones for free.

All in all I am very happy that I got this bike…an 8500 dollar bike for 5000 not bad right? :slight_smile:

I think he got an '08 Transition S-Works since it came with the Zipp aerobar ('09 comes with Easton Attack).

Thanks, hard to tell, has not changed to much for 09 graphic-wise.
I am sporting a 2009 Transition Pro, and was ensuring I got a good deal!
