The new Brezza II

Anyone seen them in person? Or know how much do they really weigh?

Here’s a link with the specs: http://www.thenew3t.com/products.aspx?i=tri&t=triAerobars&p=tribrezza

The pictures there aren’t the actual ones, they are the old Brezzas. Here are the new picture: http://www.racycles.com/product.aspx?catid=7,22,138,138&pid=4509

Anyone out there owns both the Brezza 1 and Brezza 2 to do a comparison between functionality, shape, design, weight or stiffness? I doubt it as the Brezza 2 is very new.

I have the Brezza LTD. These look the same with no spec differences than what I have. What’s the difference?

They are supposed to be lighter, stiffer and have a new aerofoil shape in compliance with the UCI 3:1 rule.

I’m asking to see if anyone can tell me the actual weight difference, perceived difference in stiffness and certainly the aero shape. How much was the 3T Brezza 1 advertised to weigh at?

I know weight doesn’t matter but… :stuck_out_tongue:

As we enter a new generation of super stiff, super light integrated bars I just thought I’d do a comparison. Less weight at the front always calls for more responsive steering, whether that’s a good thing or not it’s another question. I love my front end to be really responsive. New lightweight bars include the brezza and the missile pro.

I personally weighed the older Brezza 1 LTD, comes in at 570g on the scales. If someone can recall the advertised weight on the 3T website for the older Brezza 1 LTD bars, we can extrapolate the new Brezza 2 LTD weight, which is currently advertised at 480g.

I was racing yesterday and chatted with 2 people on the Brezza bars (I have the Mistral bars) and they both knocked the functionality & fit of the Brezza style when they saw how the Mistral had much more adjustability (4 pad width positions and you can mount the extensions either above or below the base bar…plus add risers etc)
.

I think the brezza is able to do 4 pad positions too, but on the extension below and above the base bar, I think not.

we have a couple of pairs in stock so i’ll try to remember to weigh them for you
.

cool stuff… can you post some pictures of them as well? on the scale, side profiles, frontal profiles and top profiles and let us know what has changed?

I might snap up a piece from you!
