The Lower I get up front, the more I want to bring my seat forward

Moving the seat forward is opening up my hip angle. Does this all sound right?

Yep. You’re closing that hip angle as you lower the cockpit so by moving the seat forward you are opening it up. Keep that hip angle around 90-95 deg for optimum power. I stayed awake during most of my FIST seminar so I think I know what I’m talking about. Not exactly the fit sequence that’s normally done, but as long as you don’t screw up your cockpit length, it should work out in the end.
