Ok, so i’m confused. The TDF are trying to eliminate doping, but it seems, they openly admit it’s the only way to finish the race in time.

Are you a regular Onion reader? If not, I highly recommend it. This is just typical of the “articles” they do. It’s satire at its finest. (Some do get a little racy though.)
I’ve been reading it for years. I don’t know if you remember, but a few years back they did an article about mens’ razors – something along the lines of battle of the blades. It was hilarious. This Tour piece may top that, although nothing can top the post-9/11 issue.
