The history of the vibrator

They use popups so I could not link directly.

The text that goes along with each picture is hilarious.

The fifth electric utensil invented was the vibrator.

There were more vibrators than toasters in 1917. (heck that could be true today.)

This goes with your toaster statement:

"By 1917, there were more v!brators than toasters in American homes. Dozens of patents were issued for new designs between 1900 and 1940. Manufactured long before the era of engineered obsolescence, these machines were built to last. Many vibrators of this vintage still survive; at least a dozen are usually for sale on eBay at any given moment. "

I have much to learn about posting.

I’m hoping these EBayers are collectors and not users.

Unless they use a condom I guess.
