The first race of the year

Twas the night before the first race of the year,
Awaiting the the day that is now so near,
I decided to try and clean my best gear.

To save weight was the goal,
And with my stead not to look like a fool,
On race day I prefer to be clean and cool.

There was dirt everywhere, and in all places,
My bike must be shiney when I go to races,
So I may se envy on everyone’s faces.

My breaks were all squeaky,
My wheels a little creaky,
A noisey ride is nothing but geeky.

To rhyme all the time is simple and grand,
but I must go eat now carbs oh so bland,
When tomorrow comes I’ll be the man.

-Yah, I’ll be here all week

Tear it up, Goph.

Can I suggest that you alter the final line to read:

When tomorrow comes I’ll be the man and have a beer.
