I’m not as educated, or mis-educated?, or maybe even mis-undereducated?
as some of you likely are on the drug war so I won’t go spouting “facts” about why we should or shouldn’t stop this war. Maybe if a few of you have time you could tell me why it is or is not in our best interest to continue the fight. It seems like the intent is good, but the results are devestating financially and socially. Question 1: Is it time for a change yet? Any European readers care to chime in on the US drug war? Question 2: If the prohibition of alcohol somehow was reinstated, do you think that you, an otherwise productive citizen, might find yourself in jail because you got caught buying alcohol from some dude the police just happened to be watching?
The WOD is a waste of time and energy. People should be allowed to f### themselves up if they want to.
The only problem is that in America, we run a socialist society. Ergo them what makes a mess of their own lives subsequently become a burden on society. If we let people do all the drugs they want, and then just let them deal with the consequences of their actions, there certainly would be fewer of them.
