The Dope Machine

Anyone know if this bike comes with a year’s supply of EPO, blood transfusion poducts, or Testosterone? Maybe it’s just coincidence that Tyler, Floyd, and Vino rode it when testing positive.

You’re right Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis, and Vino all road BMC when they got caught.

Coincidence?

Obviously, it doesn’t hurt bike sales to have these guys win stages and the whole tour on the BMC bikes. Perhaps, bike companies need to crack down or maybe they are part of the problem. I imagine the latter. Didn’t hurt Cervelo that Basso won the Giro on their bikes, or Leder or Hundertmarck use the bikes (although the latter two have yet to be officially proven as dopers, suspicion is mounting).

How many threads are you going to start on doping?

It’s getting old!!!

I agree. The doping is getting old. As soon as the riders stop, I’ll stop. Now I’ll add in my many exclamation points to REALLY emphasize my point !!!

How about you just stop becuase your threads are annoying and trollish?

Perhaps, you can tell us all what post are allowed. How about yet another post on which helmet is more aero the LG chrono or the rocket. Or how about one of the thousands of which wheels set should is better the Hed 3c, Zipp 404, Zipp 606 or 808 threads. Or another thread about which bike is more aero. I think the OP posts are topical to the sport of triathlon and cycling and it is a curious coincidence that three high profiled riders who got caught were all using BMC bikes.

IF you don’t like the posts don’t keep posting to them.

I don’t keep posting in them. This is the first time. The doping threads are flooding the forum. We’ve all read about the recent high profile riders testing positive riding BMC. It’s been said in the other threads by aerobike.

Just to show you since maybe you are ignorant…

Did we really need two of the exact same posts by the same person?
Especially something that is negative and is putting a bad image on a bike manufacturer with most likely nothing to do with doping?

Perhaps if bike manufacturers/sponsors had a stronger interest in cleaning up the sport by actively policing their athletes then maybe we wouldn’t have such a problem in the sport. Although it would be counter to their business interests to do so. It is better for them to have guys win on their bike regardless of their doping use or not. Wins = sales. I don’t know if BMC is actively sponsoring doping but the incentives of doping certainly help these bike companies out.

I guess like the OP indicated, these posts wouldn’t come up if cyclists and triathletes didn’t dope. The fact is that they do. Deal with it.

haha. Yeah because bike manufacturers are handing out EPO to increase sales! That’s news to me. Or maybe BMC should start testing people that ride their bikes. I’m pretty sure you’re joking so I’ll stop. Like I said this post has already been posted by the SAME poster. The poster is a troll and maybe you are too.

There is no need to degrade a bike company on a public forum multiple times when no one wants to read them, which is evident by the last thread aerobike made on this with few replies and the way this one has turned out.
