DON’T DO IT!!
I have run a bunch of marathons and this was by far the worst. The course is terrible…1 mile through the parks and 25.2 through waste sewage plants, dumpster roads, service roads and highways. Not friendly, not cheap and not fun. Most of the race is in the dark so you don’t interfere with the park’s normal hours. More crowded than NYC. I have ZERO positive memories of the race experience.
if you want fast and fun, run Jacksonville…that’s a great race. I’ll be there this year.
