may sound strange, but i have learned from 20+ case interviews and countless hours of prep that the best way to start a case is to…
smile and then comment on how the case is a good one, interesting, or challenging.
i find that it does two things:
- for me, puts my mind and emotions in the right zone
- for them, shows the interviewer that you like to think and don’t back down from an ambiguous case.
