The Candy Store

Today I find myself in Tucson on business and stoped by the brick and motar store of Trisports.com - while I believe in supporting my LBS whenever possible I have over the years used Trisports.com for items my LBS didn’t have / couldn’t get. Bearing in mind until a few years ago I lived in South Africa where (up until my departure) not a single specialist tri store existed so, once a year I would place an order on the web with these guys - one year a hed 3, the next some new nutrition drinks I wanted to try and so on - not once over the last half dozen years have Seaton and the crew let me down. Typically I have managed to restrain myself to their April sale until this year. I am in the middle of rebuilding my P3 after a great winter custom paint job (by PaintIT on this board) and was adamanent I wanted the FSA Compact Carbon Cranks - Nic Hobbs the buyer at Trisports.com warned me it may take a while - I was expecting a couple of months or longer - they had it for me in under a month. I had tried several other stores and Trisports was the only outfit prepared to even try for me. Today I picked up a set of Easton Bars - when I placed the order a couple of weeks ago on their annual sale they told me they were out of stock. I let them know I would be in town this week and once again they delivered for me. If you are ever in Tucson take the time to stop by the store and chat with the great guys and gals who deliver such great service!
