chainpin is not terminally banned. he needs to understand the value of, and the responsibility that attends being a member of, a community. when i get an email acknowledging that he understands that, i’ll bake him a cake and he’s welcome back.

Dan banned chainpin because he spelled commie wrong. Chainpin left off the “e”. That is completely unacceptable.

The only justifiable reason I could possibly support such a decision is if you Google “Commi Cock Sucker Obama” the Slowtwitch thread comes up on top, number one with a bullet, right next to “Obama Is a Clown Blogspot” among others throwing the “Obama is the N word” around. Keeping some bad company right there.

Otherwise, I don’t think your standards of decorum are very consistent. Your house, your rules.

I saw that post… I even qouted it but deleted the graphic.

I love the 2nd paragraph here (the following link is to wiki however it contains a word that is banned on this site, as I like to waste time here I do not want to get banned so I had to disguise the link) http://goo.gl/ox9Pc that sums up this “word” thing… oh shit, I have to go find a link renamer cause my link contains the banned word.

I wouldn’t normally say this about limiting someone’s speech (yes, I know it is privately owned and not government), but, thank you.

While most of us respect that we have to put up with extreme speech in the name of freedom, sometimes you have to let people know that while the speech is free, they are not free from repercussions of that speech.
