For those of you unaware, James Kim and his family went missing over a week ago in Oregon. Not sure what happened but they got lost in a storm while travelling to the coast. Today they found the mother and the kids but unfortunately they still haven’t found James yet. After a week with no rescuers, he set off alone to find help. The reason this story is of interest to some is because James Kim was a former TechTv host and does several podcasts.
Wasn’t there a missing family in Oregon last year around this same time??
After reading the article linked in the orginal post, the stories author comments at the end that ‘six people spent 17 snowbound days in a motor home before being rescued in March. Eventually two of those stranded decided to hike out of the mountains for help, which led to the rescue of all six.’
