Anyone else seen this? I thought it was pretty good…genuinely creepy.
Saw the movie a few months ago here in Australia. Scared the shit out of me as I have young sons the same age as the boy in the movie, made it extra creepy. Really is a very good movie, well worth seeing.
Just to counter - I didn’t like it. Well done theatrically but a little too M.Night-ish (and not in the good way) story for me.
I’m not really into horror, but that looks like it might be worth watching.
As a side note, “babadook” sounds like some sort of New Jersey Italian slang for a turd.

That mother got what she deserved for showing her kid that book in the first place!

I certainly don’t scare easily but I’m about 72% certain that thing was in my walk in closet for about three nights after I watched the movie. Creepy.
