Another one of my little rambles…
As anyone in business knows, have a clearly defined goal shared by all team members is crucial for success
WIth 4 Top riders (and a TTT) having a podium sweep was certainly feasible (heck even 4 out of top 5)
But it would have required everyone knowing their roles
AC wins again, LA gets his fairytale comeback podium and either AK or Levi is rewarded for all their efforts
Instead we had this nonsense of ‘the road decides who is leader’. LA must have known AC was a stronger rider than he is (or JB should have told him)
Everytime the road has gone up, or its been man against man, AC has shown he is clearly head and shoulders above LA
Now that AC is clearly dominant, and the other 2 have slipped, all of a sudden creating history is now the main aspect of this tour?
If LA had settled for second before the Tour started I am sure he would have gotten it, and AC would have gladly helped his do so
But when you openly question ACs right to lead, why are you surprised when he takes every opportunity he can to smack you down?
