…and happy man who’ll eventually succumb to the same fate of us all.

LOL, has he let on who he will will his PowerCranks to? You know every thread needs to turn into a PC thread. I just can’t stop myself . . .
I can hear the hearts of women AARP members breaking all over the US right now upon hearing the news of this terrible loss…

The Illinois Enema Bandit…I heard he’s on the loose…
Once a Zappa fan, always a Zappa fan!
watch out where triathletes go and don’t you eat that yellow snow
.
Frank, his PCs are being buried with him.

If you’re referring to getting old, slow and then dying a long, protracted ugly death then I have to disagree. Not all of us are going down that road. My guess is the man is taking the challenge head-on and he’s up for it.
Cheers, Scott
Isn’t that a bit redundant?
Dave
eating at the ST breakfast at some Ironman? LOL.
Perhaps sooner than most. And I’m not gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that) although that rumor has followed me for years. I suspect it’s the result of pissing off one too many hombrés…
Actually, after three failed marriages, I probably should try batting for the other team, but then that would assume that three marriages failed entirely due to the poor disposition of my three ex-wives. I’m prepared to admit the unlikliness of that.

- THAT MUCH of a sense of humor he doesn’t have. My hope is that my PCs, like my body, my car, my dogs and my bikes, will be so thoroughly trashed and ready for interment by that time that even the recyclers would refuse them. However, I don’t have a will (why bother for $1000 worth of crap?) So when I die, anyone who wants to come by the house and claim I promised them my bike can probably have them with the frame to which they are attached.
I haven’t gotten a new bike in years, yours has to be better than mine. Send me an e-mail with your address when your stuff’s available ![]()
Dibs on the PCs, then.

- There is no one that I would rather see riding them! Well, maybe Dev, but he’s already got a pair.

- I have two. The race bike is something like 57cm. It’s never been crashed and only used for racing, so low mileage. My Trek 5200 has over 100,000 miles on it, but with new wheels and a new drivetrain two years ago (except for brake calipers) it’s pretty functional.
Watch for news of my demise, because I piss off a lot of folks. It could happen at any moment, kinda like Billy Pilgrim in Slaughterhouse Five…
