“It’s the fastest hunk for my junk in the Galaxy.”

So as triathletes we were not nerdy enough. Now you’ve gone and cross pollinated us with the Star Wars. Well done, and may the force be with you
“It’s the that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.”

Sorry. That’s not the saddle I was looking for.
When racing with this saddle be sure to let the Wookie win

Sir the odds of successfully navigating a draft pack of this size…
Never tell me the odds!
I thought this thread was going to reference the HUGE full moon this morning. With a full ground cover of snow and partially cloudy sky. It was a very well lit run. I could see every pothole and patch of ice. Not bad weather really. ICYC, Kinvara TR work pretty damn well in slick conditions while still feeling pretty light, moderate cushioning, flexibility with a nice road feel. Of course I still slow by abotu 0:30/mi on hardpak snow, but I find it interesting that I think my run economy improves as the run goes on. To get the most traction and speed, a more solid midfoot plant with less toe off, and high cadence works best. My HR steadily dropped the last 1/2 of the run at the same pace despite a slight headwind.

How did we get from Star Wars saddle jokes to your running economy?
My planet resembled Hoth this morning too. Only with no visible Endor (it’s in a separate system after all)
M - O - O - N…that spells saddle.

WINNER!!
Aren’t you a little short for a storm trooper, either that or your seat’s too low…
World Triathlon Corp spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
My 2006 Felt b2 is named “The Falcon”. When my wife asked why the name, I replied “she might not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts.”
And yes, I ride an Adamo saddle.
This thread will probably inspire someone to have the Millennium Falcon custom photo-printed onto a white Adamo. You could also get a starving artist to hand paint it, though it might wear off.
“She’s fast enough for you old man”

I felt a great disturbance in the Draft Zone, as if hundreds of voices suddenly cried out “On Your Left” (as the peloton rolls by).
The Felt is strong with this one.
“Would it help if I got off the bike and pushed?”
“… It MIGHT”

I was pursuing the Moon theme and the star wars thing seems reasonably played out. And because I’m a standard issue, at least moderately narcissistic Slowtwitcher.
So much win in this thread! Thank you for making me smile.
