What everyone got planned for training on Turkey day- or is just football and food? Have any traditional T-giving day workouts you’ve got planned. Do you go big on Thursday or wait till Friday to burn off the feast?

getting up early on T-day and going for a tough UPHILL trail run and then off to swim practice!

Enjoy! I wanted to run (my family is in Atlanta), but I am getting dragged to my fiance’s family in NC, where there is nothing to do!

6 mile training run the day of. Lots more miles over the weekend with my brother who’s coming in town.

3 mile warm-up, 5k race, 3 mile cool down, 12 oz. curls, maybe kegstands if I want to push it.

5K Turkey Trot. I’m going to run hard and see what I can do.

Early morning ride with the SDBC - crash - a- thon here in San Diego. Usually a huge turnout with easily over 200 hundred cyclists as they pick up riders going North on the coast and then heading inland doing the Swami’s route. Just over 65 miles and then I’ll do a 1/2 hour transition run to top it off. Gonna try to be in the front pack to stay out of trouble.

5K Turkey Trek Albuquerque, NM
.

Drumstick curls.
Those things can get heavy…

Also, if you put more stuff on your fork, that can also help build up your biceps.

Since I usually only have time to do longer rides on Saturday, I like to take advantage of having Thurs. and Fri off to do Three days of biking. My schedule is: Thursday 60 miles, Friday 100 miles and Saturday 70-80 miles. For a softy like me, that’s a pretty good butt-kicker.

I’ll be doing a fun sprint tri with a ton of family and friends Thanksgiving morning. This is the third year for this race and for us, it is becoming a fun tradition.

5M garden city turkey trot!

After spending Aug./Sept/Oct. in IM training, I’m off the LONG training for a couple of months. I’ll do probably a 1.5 hour trail run around my house and surf if there are waves!
Enjoy everyone!

Working 6am- 2:30, then dinner. Then football. At double time and and half holiday pay, I cant complain about work cutting into my run time!

hiking in Hell"s Canyon Idaho. I always think I’m in good shape until I hike there and can feel my heartbeat in my head…

3-4 hours of XC skiing at Silver Star, B.C. My standard Thanksgiving week vacation up there.

I think I still have a frozen Pumpkin Pie in my freezer from the 2002 Columbus Turkey Trot? Do they still give those away?
